Get Back Aero Glass in Windows 8
If you have been using Windows 8 you might have known, Microsoft has removed Aero Glass from Windows 8, though you can still see some transparency in the taskbar, other than that, the eye candy that was first introduced in Windows Vista and much improved in Windows 7 has been permanently removed from Windows 8 and Microsoft doesn't have any plans to bring it back. Windows 8 sports a much flatter theme than it predecessors, and the look and feel is much closely related to the "Metro" (Modern) interface introduced in Windows 8.
If the rumors are to be believed, Windows Blue (Windows 8.5), an update to Windows 8, will feature a much more flatter theme and a strong integration on Modern interface with the desktop and the left over transparency in the taskbar will also be removed. (Well, these are just rumors!)
There is some good news for people with Windows 8, a program named "Aero for Windows 8" created by "bigmuscle" at MSFN forums, has successfully recreated the aero glass effect in Windows 8.
The program is still in its beta stages and has many bugs. Many have encountered a black screen (including me) while trying to run this program, but changing the registry values used by the program does help to overcome this error.
You can head over to the forum to download the latest version or you can download it from here as well.
If you need more information on how to use this program, please leave an comment.

Update: (13/04/13) A new version is available, get it from my storage or here. The performance and the stability has been increased and the black screen problem has been resolved. The new version has been termed as the first beta or beta 1, by the program author.
If you are interested it in trying, I'll advise you to use it with AGTweaker, made by "ORelio", from the same forums, MSFN.
AGTweaker makes it easier to customize the settings of "Aero for Windows 8". Watch this space for more updates on "Aero for Windows 8".

I have also uploaded a video, to help setup the program on your systems. Feel free to comment, if you have any queries.
