Mobile phones are once necessity these days, it's almost impossible to imagine one's daily life without a mobile phone in the pocket. It lets us connect with our family and friends, and find essential information at our fingertips. These kind of small electronics products are always prone to accidents and maximum number of these accidents are related with water. So here are some tips on how to save your mobile phone, for the matter of fact any electronic product portable like mobile phones, if they drown or somehow water enter their interiors.

Well if you were fast enough to rescue your Phone from drowning, there are chances that your phone might still work. If it fell in water and you use it before drying it properly, it may damage the inner circuits which is the worst case scenario here. Below are some steps you can follow to dry out your cell phone effectively and have a high chance of saving your cell.

Well first thing everyone does is obvious, that is to dry by shaking and rubbing it with a cloth.

Along side that, one needs to remove the parts, i.e, the back cover and the battery, and the back part which is screw tight, be careful not to lose the screws. Doing this is an effective way of cutting the power supply. Keep the battery in a soft cloth out to dry and then the phone has to undergo certain "tiny operations" to get rid of the water that has reached the inner parts.

Every now and then shake the phone, use a soft cloth to get rid of the water you see. Be careful, do not use a hard, rough cloth which may damage the electric board.

If you cannot reach certain parts, it is good to use a vacuum cleaner to suck the moisture. Do not put any screws around or else that'll be sucked by the vacuum cleaner and do not use a blower, it can make the moisture go even deeper inside the circuit.

Another effective way is too keep your cell phone overnight in a rice bowl (closed). That's right, keeping your cell phone in a dry rice bowl will help absorbing the moisture. DO keep the bowl closed otherwise the rice grains will absorb the moisture from the environment too.

If everything is properly done, the mobile phone should work exactly like before without any problems.
