How to Change Windows Store Region and Language on Windows 8
If you are using Windows 8 Release Preview or Consumer Preview, you might have noticed all the changes Microsoft has incorporated in the new Windows. The most noticeable feature in the new Windows is it Metro UI (The start screen), its a refreshing new UI for PC users which also will be featured in Microsoft Surface tablets and Windows 8 phones in the coming months. The Metro interface is a whole new platform for applications, namely Metro apps. Windows 8 will have both desktop and the metro interface.
While all the programs which ran in Windows 7 are pretty much compatible in Windows 8, you can as well install and run Metro apps. These apps are different from native desktop programs, and can only be installed through 'Windows Store'.
Windows store is now supported in 33 countries, which is an increase from 5, when Windows 8 development reached consumer preview. Soon Windows Store will be made available in other countries as we get close to Windows 8 release.
Windows Store displays all the Metro apps depending on your region, some apps are region specific and can only be viewed/downloaded from the Store if you are in a specific country or region.
In this article, I will walk you through the steps on how you can change your Windows Store location and language. Follow the below mentioned steps
